Land cover classification

Information about land cover classification is available from:

(a) the Bureau of Rural Sciences land cover map, see details on the AACES-1 website.

(b) a Landsat land cover map derived from supervised classification of Landsat data (October 6, November 7 and November 23, 2006)

Data can be downloaded from Download Centre.

NOTE: These two sources of information have last been updated in 2006, and more detailed land cover maps will be uploaded shortly.
